W sierpniu informowaliśmy, iż Pro Evolution Soccer 5 ma szansę na prestiżową nagrodę Golden Joystick Award. Nominowany był PES w aż czterech kategoriach.
Głosujący stwierdzili, że flagowa seria Konami zasługuje na jedno jedynie wyróżnienie - Nuts All-Nighter Award, co jest oczywiste dla każdego, kto kiedykolwiek grał w teamach 3vs3, lub więcej.
Cieszyć może fakt, że ludzie docenili tą część serii, szkoda jednak, że tylko w jednej kategorii.
